Pochés in Europe

Demographic Concentration

In an attempt to determine the origin of Pochés, European phone books were
examined to determine geographic concentration of Pochés.  For example, if this
were done in the United States, it would suggest that most Pochés are concentrated
in the State of Louisiana and in high numbers in a few Parishes along the Mississippi
River.

Conclusion: Pochés are ubiquitous in France and are concentrated in the southern
portion of Belgium.  The only conclusion which one can make is that there is no
demographic concentration of Pochés in Europe which could determine an origin
point for Pochés.  Other origins have been written or expressed
